  Happy Motoring Co Sdn Bhd, Honda automobile distributor in Brunei Darussalam has officially launched the highly anticipated green-minded hot hatch coupe, the 2012 Honda CR-Z  in Gadong.The CR-Z was first launched in Japan in February 2010 and it has been sold more than 55,000 units worldwide by the end of October 2011. On top of that, the CR-Z is voted Japan Car of the year 2010-2011.

 The CR-Z is powered by a quiet 1.5L i-VTEC engine, the CRZ uses petrol as little as 5 litres per 100km.The 2+2 seat CR-Z uses a 114ps 4-cylinder 1.5-liter i-VTEC engine that generates up to 145Nm of torque with a 6 speed manual transmission. But with Honda IMA (Integrated Motor Assist), the combined power for the CR-Z is 128ps with 223Nm of torque. A fascinating feature of the CR-Z is that it is capable of consuming petrol as little as 5 litres per 100km all thanks to the Honda clean and clever hybrid system. The electric motor boosts torque at low and medium revs, the CR-Z in gear flexibility while its 6-speed manual gearbox, the world first on a hybrid car, gives you maximum control over torque

The handling performance of the CR-Z is well taken care of thanks to the MacPherson struts up front and H-shaped torsion bean suspension on the rear. This combination provides sporty yet stable steering feel. Agility and fuel economy is further improved due to the rigid and lightweight body.
The wedge rear end with the black glass on top of the Honda emblem reminds us of the iconic Honda CRX design.

 The CR-Z is the first Honda model equipped with a unique 3-mode Drive system. It allows you to select 3 different driving modes which are Sport, Normal and Econ modesIn sport mode, the CR-Z goes from tree hugging to road ripping performances. Throttle response and handling of the car is improved. The electric motor increases the weight of the electric power steering which allows for better handling in sharp corners. Furthermore, the instrument panel glows red in sports mode while in Normal and Econ mode, the panel glows blue. In Econ mode, the throttle response, ECU, air conditioning is reduced in order to maximise fuel economy. This is a great driving mode to use when you are stuck in heavy traffic roads especially driving in the Gadong areas. If you happened to drive the car efficiently, the instrument panel will start to glow green, indicating that you are driving as ecologically as possible.

This car resembles its older brother Honda CRX, the aerodynamic design bring a dual benefit of improving performance and fuel economy.The CR-Z comes with a Euro NCAP-5-star safety rating and an abundance of safety features.It comes equipped with cruise control, Hill Assist, 6 airbags (Dual-stage front, front-side, side, and side-curtain airbags), active headrests, ABS, Vehicle stability assist and G-Control (G-CON). The G-Control body structure enhances self protection as well as mitigating damage to the other vehicles in the event of collision.

A seabreacher  is a coolwater vehicle or  submersible watercraft thatdesigned to mimic it real aquatic creature,dolphin.  It relies on forward momentumand the downward lift of its wings to take it below the water's surface  which means it can perform some pretty greattricks. It only goes down a few feet and can't go faster than 30 miles an hour.

When comes to safety which  the interesting part of the seabreacher is that  the moment the engine loses power due to dive toodeep  it will immediately pop back to thesurface.

Ever wonder what is submarine? Let's get to know a little background about submarine. A submarine is a watercraft capable of independent operation underwater. It differs from a submersible, which has more limited underwater capability

                                     
     

Modern submarines are cigar-shaped. This design, visible in early submarines is sometimes called a "teardrop hull". It reduces the hydrodynamic drag when submerged, but decreases the sea-keeping capabilities and increases drag while surfaced.

A Submarine can float on water because the weight of the water displaced is equal to the weight of the craft. The upward force that the water has on the vessel is known as they buoyant force. The key to controlling a submarine’s diving and resurfacing, is to control the buoyancy.

Submarines are equipped with ballast tanks and trip tanks that can be filled with either water or air. To have the submarine sitting on the surface, the ballast tanks must be empty; to descend, the air in the tanks is replaced with water. The density of a submarine then becomes greater than the water and it will submerge. There is a supply of compressed air on board that is used for both life support and to fill the ballast tanks.

A few years ago the thought of streetcars returning to our streets was a fantasy. Today several cites have either installed new streetcar lines, constructing lines, or in the advance planning stages. I support streetcars as I feel that they are a great step between basic bus service and full light rail service

 ~>Lets see what the streetcar does do:

1. The streetcar provides service along a corridor that has never had service.

2. The streetcar provides an alternative form of transportation that makes that part of the country much more livable. 

~>The problems are:

1. One problem was that the system was designed only to have single cars. From my understanding this was a compromise to ensure support along the line. However, one of the benefits of rail transit is when you add additional cars to a train to make it more efficient and carry more people. Any future lines should have the capability to run multiple car trains. 

2. There is no private right of way. The streetcar gets stuck in traffic

3. The streetcar should have signal priority plus priority at the four way stops like Couch and 11th were the streetcar gets stuck for extended periods of time.
